Protective net sleeving provides a practical, effective, and cost-efficient solution to the problems of surface damage to components during manufacture, storage, and transit. Available in a range of colour coded sizes, the protective mesh is flexible enough to mould around irregularly shaped items, effectively protecting them from knocks and scratches. Unlike traditional materials such as wax paper, it can be used again and again.
Net sleeving is manufactured from a low density polyethylene (LDPE) in a tubular form in diameters ranging from 5mm to 300mm. It is resistant to acids and solvents and is unaffected by oils and grease, making it ideal for protecting machined parts in an engineering environment. Other applications include bottle sleeving and protection of damage-prone items such as ceramics, glass, window furniture, and furniture legs.
