What is Acrylic Packing Tape?

Acrylic adhesive packing tape is the most commonly used tape for general box sealing and packaging applications. The water-based acrylic adhesive provides a good bond to standard and recycled cardboard, has excellent resistance to UV light and temperature variation, and maintains its adhesion over time without yellowing or drying out. It is the right choice for most everyday ecommerce and warehouse packing applications.

Acrylic vs Hot Melt Tape — Which Do You Need?

Hot melt tape is best for: high recycled content cardboard, cold or refrigerated environments, irregular or dusty surfaces, applications where a stronger immediate bond is needed, or where tape lifting has been a problem with acrylic.
