FOAMplus® Chemical B Moulding Foam 5510H is the second reactive component in the FOAMplus® foam-in-place packaging system, specifically formulated for heavy-duty applications. The 5510H grade produces a denser, more rigid foam cushion than standard grades — ideal for moulding around heavy, robust, or high-value products that require firm, supportive protection rather than soft cushioning. Supplied in a large drum for high-volume operations. Call 02476 611234 for technical advice and volume pricing.

FOAMplus® Chemical B Moulding Foam 5510H is a high-density reactive chemical component used in conjunction with FOAMplus® Chemical A to produce expanding polyurethane foam cushions via the FOAMplus® foam-in-place dispensing system. The 5510H grade is specifically formulated to produce a denser, more rigid foam than standard grades — making it the preferred choice for packaging heavy, solid, or high-value products that require firm, supportive cushioning rather than soft void fill.

When combined with Chemical A in the FOAMplus® BagPacker system, Chemical B 5510H expands rapidly to mould perfectly around your product, creating a bespoke rigid foam cradle that holds the item securely in place throughout transit. The higher density foam provides excellent resistance to compression under load — essential when packaging heavy items that could otherwise crush a softer foam cushion during courier or pallet handling.

Typical applications for the 5510H grade include heavy engineering components, automotive parts, industrial machinery parts, scientific instruments, power tools, and any product where the weight of the item itself poses a risk of compressing standard foam grades.

Supplied in large drums for high-volume packing operations. Must be used exclusively with FOAMplus® Chemical A and the FOAMplus® BagPacker dispensing system. Full safety data sheets and handling guidance available on request. Store in a dry, temperature-controlled environment away from direct sunlight. Call 02476 611234 for technical advice, foam density guidance, or volume pricing.
