Sustainably Sourced Packaging
Sustainably sourced packaging is packaging that is sourced from renewable sources, and sources that are managed and protected responsibly like FSC certified paper products and starch based plastics. By using sustainably sourced packaging, you know that you aren't using packaging that has done irreparable damage to the environment, like using nonrenewable oil or cutting down virgin forests for producing paper. We all have a responsibility to conserve the earth's resources, so by using packaging manufactured with responsibly sourced materials you can do your bit and have peace of mind that you are helping the environment.
FSC Certified Packaging
FSC certified packaging is packaging that has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. This means it has been manufactured using materials that have been produced in an environmentally responsible and socially beneficial manner. FSC certified paper means that the trees and plants used to make the paper have been taken from managed forests in a responsible way and have not detrimentally impacted the local environment. You can buy packaging that has both full FSC certification or FSC Mix certification, this means your packaging uses 100% FSC material or partly uses FSC material respectively.
